9th of March will always be a memorable day for me.I was told a day earlier that the extension has been approved and I could come at 10 AM the next day.With so much excitement that finally the wait was going to be over , I hardly slept that night and as soon as the Mr. Sun came out , I also hastened with my daily chores and was off to Hazratganz LHO.
The people were very friendly there and it seemed that the joining formalities would be a breezy affair. Unfortunately , I had not brought the character certificate from my previous employer ( it's not in their policy to give it!!!) .Finally at 6 PM all the formalities were finished and was told that my first branch will be Jangal Kauriya , a rural branch in Gorakhpur .
I would be there for 9 weeks and I also have to go for a 2 weeks training to Lucknow ,from 18th to 30th April.Then for the next 9 weeks I would be posted at Gorakhpur main branch.
As the instruction was to report to my branch the next day , I boarded a bus that night at 10 PM
.
My Life @ PO had begun !!!
